Hi Everyone, Newbie here.
I am still confused about negative bidding and was hoping that someone could spell out the bidding process with some details and examples. As I understand the process: 1. The lowest bid wins. 2. The lowest bid always gets the Axis. 3. If the lowest bid is positive, then the Axis Player (and bid winner) gets that much cash/units 4. If the lowest bid is negative, then the Allied Player (and bid loser) gets that much cash/units. 5. Cash/Units is always divided evenly (if possible) between cash and units. Please let me know if I have any of this wrong. Thank you very much |

Not all of the games use the same bid system...
1 and 2. Yes for 2nd Edition, AAR and AA50 low bid gets Axis. In Pacific high bid wins Axis and must be manually reversed as the computer will award Axis to low bid. 3. 2nd Edition (cash/units) - AAR (cash/units) - AA50 (cash only) - Pacific (cash/units) 4. 2nd Edition (remove units/cash equaling bid from Axis) - AAR (remove units/cash equaling bid from Axis) - AA50 (add cash only to Allies) - Pacific (remove units/cash equaling bid from Axis) 5. Only for AAR--- 2nd Edition (all units remainder cash) - AAR (max half units remainder cash) - AA50 (cash only) - Pacific (all units remainder cash) |
