2nd EDITION TOURNAMENTS

2009 MAIN CHAMPIONSHIP: Starts January 12th

This tourney is the AAMC's biggest, and is open to all members. It is single elimination with 2 months per round. We particularly encourage players from other clubs to participate in this one as well. In the past it has been the worlds largest A&A tournament online and we hope to make it that again. Open to all is an understatement!  Text Game Tournament

2009 LT'S TOURNAMENT: Starts February 2nd

This tourney is for players that are new and/or have not reached the higher ranks yet. 1st and 2nd LT's only, who have NOT attained a higher rate before. There will be lots of mentors available to help answer PBEM questions to newbies so as to not jeopardize their first tourney experience! Game lengths per round depend on #'s enrolled.  Text Game Tournament

ABCD DIVISION TOURNAMENT:
A Division 1525 +
B Division 1450 - 1524
C Division 1400 - 1449
D Division 1399 and Below
2 months per round. This a a very large event, don't miss it!

2009 LOW-LUCK TOURNEY: Starts July 6th

LL is a very nice tournament you should not miss. Thanks to DAAK's wonderful ruleset.  Text Game Tournament

2009 3 v 3 TOURNAMENT: Starts September 21st, rates calculated September 14th

Teams consist of 3 members. Teams should consist of the following:

Senior Officer: Player rated 1525 +
Junior Officer: Player rated 1525 - 1425
LT: Player rated 1425 and below

When teams play each other, both senior officers play, both junior officers play, and both LT's play. If teams cannot find qualifiying members, they may put lower players upward. For example, a 2nd Lt. could play up into an officer position. However, a general, well above 1525, can only play in the senior officer position. This is meant to keep away from 'stacked teams' as well as to try and involve a broader scope of members playing and interacting. Takes 2 wins for team to advance...2 months per round.  Text Game Tournament
